is the Assistant Editor for Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review. A poet, essayist, and book reviewer, his work has appeared or is forthcoming in publications such as The Iowa Review, Waxwing, Grist: A Journal of the Literary Arts, Poetry Northwest, The Spectacle, Cherry Tree, and Southern Indiana Review, among elsewhere. He has received numerous Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize nominations, and his work has been featured in several anthologies such as The BreakBeat Poets Vol.4: LatiNEXT. A Wiley Birkhofer Fellow in Poetry at NYU, he is writing about and researching labor movements and U.S. interventions in Latin America, magical realist postcolonial theory, and more.
